Sindoni of Tioga is MOW in Mayville | News, Sports, Jobs

MAYVILLE — Tioga’s Emily Sindoni was named Most Outstanding Wrestler after winning the 126-pound weight class at the third annual New York State Intersectional Women’s Wrestling Championship on Saturday at Chautauqua Lake Central School.

General Brown’s Zoey Jewett won the 102-pound weight class where Jamestown’s Skylynn Tomlinson took second and Falconer’s Brooklyn Pryll finished fourth.

Lake Shore’s Alexiya Thuman took first place in the 118-pound weight class where Chautauqua Lake’s Alex Siliano finished fifth.

Selina Moore of Sherburne-Earlville won the 132-pound title and Madison Szymanowski of Chautauqua Lake was fifth.

Meghan Edwards of Lewiston-Porter won the 138-pound championship with Mia Smith of Chautauqua Lake in second place.

Gabriella Testa of Chautauqua Lake took fifth place at 126 pounds.

Other first place winners include: Teegan Sibble of Bolivar-Richburg (110lbs), Hailey DeGroff of Warsaw (145lbs), Christina Evans of West Seneca (152lbs) and Sophie Pollack of Canandaigua (189lbs).
