Crews from Springfield’s Pulliam Masonry pressure wash an exterior wall at the north end of Washington Elementary School. The school is undergoing a nearly $11 million renovation project led by Johnco Construction of Mackinaw. The project is progressing well on schedule, Johnco CEO Bob Berns said Monday. Construction is expected to be completed around the end of December, although Jacksonville School District Superintendent Steve Ptacek said some wiggle room has been built into the schedule for anticipated supply chain delays.
