The bunting passes through Beccles for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – and eagle-eyed can even win a prize for admiring it.
Tinsel and fluff flags have been tossed into rows of bunting at stores, community halls and churches across the city and people can enter a raffle for spotting them.
To participate, participants must track down the 21 knitted plush and garland flags hanging around the city and note where they are.
Their list can then be posted at the door of the Community Hub at 20 Blyburgate – with contact details – in order to enter.
Correct answers will be put into a draw and one correct answer will be drawn for a children’s prize, which has been donated by Morrisons of Beccles and an adult prize which is a voucher donated by The Flower Shed in Blyburgate.
The pageant is part of the town’s celebrations to mark the Queen’s 70 years of service to the throne.
The closing date for entries is June 13, and the city’s mayor will draw the two winning tickets later in the week.
