AFCI – Lewiston Sun Journal

What is the AFCI “Our Cities” project? Funded by an AARP community grant, picnic tables and benches were built by Congo craftsmen and painted by Bethel area arts and music artists. They will be offered to our six member cities on June 14, Election Day, and we hope you will plan to join us in the celebrations.

The AFCI/NorthStar Handy Neighbor program is in full swing. Have you seen their photo on the AFCI Facebook page? It was an outdoor chore project for Pat at Gilead. Applications are made through the AFCI (824-4444), but the program is currently full and has people on a waiting list for this spring. What a great job these kids are doing!

Many thanks to NorthStar Coordinators Lyndsey Smith and Justin Bondeson and AFCI Coordinators Charlie Raymond and Charlie Reiss.
